Strapped Cape - Worn by Lady Gaga
A Sculptural Cape recently worn by Lady Gaga in Black, this piece is constructed using the Úna Burke iconic strapping technique from her RE.TREAT Art Series created in 2008. This style has been exhibited internationally throughout 2017 and 2018 in the Hi.Fashion exhibition curated by Gemma Williams and it formed a section of the outfit worn by Daphne Guinness in her Nars Cosmetics Ad Campaign in 2010.
This item will be completely hand crafted in our West of Ireland Atelier using the finest Italian leathers and hardware. It will be produced especially to order so may take up to 15-30 working days to finish for you. Materials: Vegetable tanned Cowhide, Solid Brass Fittings coated with Gold/Nickel/Gunmetal, Coated Steel screws on the inside. Please Specify at checkout if you have other fitting preferences.
Care Instructions: Do not overexpose to Sunlight and avoid contact with Moisture, especially Water, Creams, Foods, Oils and Perfume. As this item is made from a natural material Colour & Surface variations are unique characteristics and not a defect. It is to be expected that the Texture & Tone of the leather will change with age and use.
